Public invited to 'One Shared World' presentation

FALLBROOK — Sherry Ludwig, Fallbrook Chapter AAUW international chair, will present a program for the community entitled “One Shared World” at FPUD on Saturday, June 14, starting at 10 a.m.

Ludwig’s passion for international affairs led her to presently being international advocacy director of AAUW California. She is currently one of 16 women who make up the state governance body of the organization.

She spoke on the plight of Third World women at the first World Conference in Mexico City and continues to advocate for women internationally. Her interest in global women’s empowerment grew to its current proportions while visiting Africa.

As one of its international cornerstone programs, AAUW continues for a third year in an unprecedented partnership to support One Shared World with American Women in Radio and Television, the National Association of Women Business Owners and the National Council of Negro Women.

This program is for AAUW members and all members of the community. For more information, call (760) 728-3011.
