New charter travels to and from Laughlin

LAUGHLIN — Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort and Vision Airlines of Las Vegas will be flying three charters per week for the Riverside Resort. The three choices are Sunday through Wednesday, Wednesday through Friday and Friday through Sunday. Flights will be aboard a Dornier 328 twin turbo-prop aircraft seating 30 passengers and will include a steward or stewardess.

As part of the introduction of the new service, a $129 package is being offered. The package includes two- or three-night hotel accommodations, round-trip airfare and all taxes, fees and airport transfers.

“Carlsbad’s McClellan-Palomar Airport was selected to allow ease of access by passengers. The smaller field allows for quicker check-in/security screening and faster baggage pickup” said Lloyd Shires, Riverside Resort Hotel and Marketing Director.

There’s something for everyone at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort, from 24 hour gaming fun with the very latest slots, keno and video poker, a high-tech race and sports book, Bingo Paradise and a variety of table games.

Besides Don’s Celebrity Theatre with a variety of top-name entertainers, there is The Dance Club, with nightly karaoke, and the legendary Losers’ Lounge with live bands, nightly themes and drink specials to entertain guests late into the night.

The Riverside Resort is also home to seven fine eating establishments, Laughlin’s only bowling center, Riverside Lanes, and Don Kid Kastle, a supervised play area that offers something for all children between 3 months and 12 years.

The Riverside Resort offers scenic boat cruises and is home to two classic car collections and to the Riverside Cinema Six-Plex, which offers first-run movies in advanced State-of-the-Art Surround Sound.
