FALLBROOK — On Friday, May 30, Daniel Zormeier, a friend of language arts teacher Erin Corduan and stuntman for the Chewbacca character in “Return of the Jedi,” visited her classroom at Potter Junior High School.
Zormeier, who lived in Fallbrook’s Live Oak Park area a few years ago, told all about his career as an actor and model, a basketball star and an engineer working with NASA. The kids took many pictures with him and he signed autographs for hours on end.
Zormeier had been scheduled as a guest speaker for Potter’s Career Day, which was originally scheduled for May 30, then changed to June 6 when he couldn’t come, so he stopped by earlier. The kids and teachers couldn’t stop talking about his visit.
