Nowotny earns Masters degree

On May 22 Jennifer Ann Nowotny, a 1997 Fallbrook High School graduate, received her Master’s of Science degree with Distinction in instructional technology and design. She completed her coursework at California State University, Chico and is an active member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor’s Society.

With the help of her graduate chair, Dr. John Roussell, Nowotny created an online mentoring program which connected college student mentors to an eighth grade class at The Children’s Storefront in Harlem, NY.

She currently works with Wimba, Inc., a technology learning company based out of New York City, where she is a learning consultant who travels all over North America teaching faculty and staff at universities how to effectively deliver online instruction using their product suite.
