Items wanted for Marines

Fallbrook VFW Post 1924 is seeking comfort for the Marines in Iraq. The following items are sought: cookies, candy, potato chips, toothpaste and brushes, baby wipes, barbershop scissors to cut hair, soap and lip balm or sun block for lips.

They cannot send any foods in glass containers.

The VFW, located at 1175 Old Stage Road, opens at 12 p.m. and donations can be dropped off there.
