Perrin becomes chairman of Fallbrook Chamber

Bryan Perrin has stepped up and assumed the chairman of the board position for the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce previously held by Frank Hopkins. Perrin has served on the Chamber board for the last four years and been a member of the Chamber for seven years.

“I’m looking forward to carrying on the forward momentum that the Chamber has enjoyed this year, such as the Historic 395 designation, a disaster recovery organization put in place to facilitate fundraisers such as ‘After the Ashes’ and a reduction in Transportation Impact Fees (TIF),” Perrin said.

“Some of the current projects include changing Main Avenue to Main Street, obtaining historic designation for downtown redevelopment, continued support for agriculture recovery from the fires, support of tourism and installation of new banners for Fallbrook on the Highway 76 overpass at Interstate 15.”

Perrin’s executive board consists of Phil Delaney, John Crouch and Tom Casey.

“The remainder of the board is a fantastic mix of local professional men and women who bring dynamic experience and energy to the board,” Perrin said. “Without their support we wouldn’t be able to accomplish the things that we do.

“We have a lot of committees and board members who are working hard to accomplish great things right now and have a lot of things planned for the future. I think the positive energy in the Chamber board room is the most I’ve experienced in my four years on the board.”

Perrin’s first major project will be the annual Honorary Mayor race.

“I’m excited about the kickoff of the Honorary Mayor race, which is a major fundraiser for the Chamber and the community,” he said. “I would encourage everyone to participate and vote for their favorite candidate. Candidates will be listed in the Village News next week and available in the Chamber office.”
