AYF Warriors Jr. Pee Wee's close season undefeated

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook AYF Warriors Jr. Pee Wee Red team ended their season Saturday, June 7, with an almost perfect record. Not only did they win nine and tie one, but they did so without allowing a single point until their last game.

Coach Allan Mangold said, “This team was made up of some real football players and I am proud of each and every one of them for their teamwork, their group accomplishment and their individual growth throughout the season. Those were their wins and they earned every one of them.”

Fall season will find the majority of these players moving up to Pee Wee to join some other players already at that tier. However, some key players are staying at the Jr. Pee Wee level and with the addition of some new talent and a lot of hard work this summer, Mangold feels they have the makings of two really great teams at Jr. Pee Wee and Pee Wee. The Mitey Mite team and All American Weight Unlimited 14 & Under Team are both looking good with some experienced players and new recruited talent as well.

President of Fallbrook AYF, Jill Crosswhite, said, “We are planning a fun Opening Day Celebration, blood drives, food drives and an awesome snack bar and we want our community their to support the future Fallbrook High School Warriors!”
