Science, math camps for fun

Credentialed elementary teacher Don Miller and the Fallbrook Community Center are offering fun and educational summer science and math camps sure to boost children’s curiosity and academic success.

“Locking in the Critical Basics of Math” will be meeting June 23-27 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. This camp will teach ways to improve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills and improve the ability to speed calculate. Children ages 5 to 14 are welcome.

In “Incredible Speed and Wild Creations,” kids will make a remote control dragonfly, mix magic dyes and make their own super ball, plus many more exciting experiments. This camp meets June 23-27 from 10 a.m. to noon.

“50 Incredible Hands-on Experiments” involves kids in a variety of exciting and interesting science experiments and meets July 7-11 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Both science camps are open to boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade.
