Auditions announced for Temecula talent event

TEMECULA — Auditions for the 19th Annual Temecula Valley Talent Showcase will be held Saturday, July 12, at Piano Music Center, 27250 Madison Avenue.

The auditions are open to all residents of North San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Categories are Children (all ages through 12), Teen (13 to 17), Adult (18 and older), Dance (all ages) and Instrumental Music (all ages).

Unfortunately, organizers cannot accommodate bands at this particular event.

If the number of registrants warrants a second day of auditions, it will take place on Sunday, July 13.

Pre-registration and appointments are mandatory for all auditions. All acts will be considered, providing they are family-oriented and in good taste.

A registration fee of $25 per person is required. The money is returned as cash prizes to the top three winners in each category at the actual Talent Showcase. Solo, duo or trio acts and groups are invited to participate.

Persons age 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All entrants must come prepared to perform the act that will be presented at the Talent Showcase, if chosen by the judges to advance.

All music must be on CD, without background or lead vocals, other than that of the contestant. Those auditioning should be prepared to leave their CD with the soundman.
