After lunch, Alice Wheaton (left) and Pat Schertel enjoy some tips on keeping their purses safe from thieves at the grocery store. Their volunteer work at the thrift shop ultimately benefits local agencies that provide ongoing assistance to Fallbrook area residents, including the Boys & Girls Club, Meals on Wheels, People to People Services and REINS.
