Please attend Junior Livestock Auction

Last updated 6/26/2008 at Noon

Hello, my name is Melissa Dunckel and I am 18 years old. I have been a member of Rainbow Valley Grange for five years. I am in the Dairy Goat Group and I also show market goats. In the past, I showed on the equestrian team and in 4-H I showed my guinea pigs. I was a member of FFA for the past four years while in high school.

This year, I am again raising a market goat named Charger. I expect him to weigh between 95 and 105 pounds by fair time. On June 30, I will bring my goat to the San Diego County Fair. I believe that my goat will be judged blue ribbon quality and that I will be able to participate in the Livestock Auction. In 2006, my goat won Grand Champion and I strive for that again.

I would like to invite you to attend the Junior Livestock Auction on Friday, July 4, beginning at 10 a.m. You can register as a buyer and have the opportunity to bid on my animal as well as others at the auction. Like most members, the money that I make on my animal goes into my account for college.

I hope to see you at the Livestock Auction and I thank you for your support!

Melissa Dunckel
