Bobbie Ruth Sanchez

Bobbie Ruth Sanchez, 79, passed away on June 17, 2008, in Hemet surrounded by her loving family. Born to Henry and Elsie Payne on November 1, 1928, in Lone Oak, TX, Bobbie was the youngest of five children. In 1936 the Payne family settled in Fallbrook, where Bobbie attended Fallbrook schools through 1947.

Bobbie was a homemaker and enjoyed indoor gardening, sewing and interior decorating.

Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Tony Sanchez, Hemet; sisters Jean McCook and Imogene Towne, Fallbrook; daughter Victoria Chamberlain and her partner Rick Saunders, Anza and Fallbrook; daughter Deborah Belleau, Palm Springs; grandchildren Christopher Wojcik, Arizona, Chama and Ralph Cliff, Kelly and Paige Butler and Matthew and Sierra O’Brien, Hemet; great-grandchildren Hannah, Jack, Isabelle, Cash, Jacob and Jordan; and many nephews and nieces.

A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be held Saturday, July 19, 1 p.m., at the home of her sister, Imogene Towne, at 717 West College Street in Fallbrook.
