Brook Wojdynski is awarded a scholarship by Carol Carpenter at the Fallbrook High School Senior Awards ceremony on June 3.
FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Quilt Guild ended their year on June 5 with the annual drawing for the opportunity quilt, scholarship award and change of officers.
The hand-quilted queen size quilt was won by Deb Raver of Fallbrook. Scholarships were awarded to Brooke Wojdynski of Fallbrook High School and Megan Wheeler of Biola University.
There is a new slate of officers ready to begin their term in August. Carol Carpenter enjoyed her year as president for the guild’s 20th anniversary. The next meeting will be held August 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center.
