Charlotte A. Morel

Charlotte A. Morel, 66, passed away July 7, 2008, in Fallbrook. Born April 23, 1942, in Blackwell, OK, she was a resident of Fallbrook for about 30 years and lived in San Diego County for almost 44 years.

For more than 20 years, Charlotte worked in Real Estate and met and grew to know many people in the Fallbrook Village. She loved to create gifts for friends, family and clients; she would crochet blankets, hats and scarves, hand-make Christmas gifts and lovingly decorate shirts and sweatshirts for all occasions.

Charlotte enjoyed volunteering to support the Miss Fallbrook pageants through Soroptimist International. She was patriotic and made pins and ribbons to wear in support of our Marine community and troops abroad. Above all, she loved camping with her family in the mountains and at the beach.

Her children, grandchildren, friends and relatives will miss her constant love and support.

Charlotte is survived by daughter Carol Besore, Fallbrook, and grandson Nick Mahr, Sacramento; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Miriam Morel and granddaughter Faith Morel, Fallbrook; son Sidney Morel, Fallbrook, and granddaughters Sara and Marcella, Mullins, SC; son Rob Morel and grandson Trevor Morel, Fallbrook.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Morel.

A memorial celebration will be held at the home of Scott and Miriam Morel, 3514 Oak Cliff Drive, Fallbrook, on July 11 from noon to 4 p.m.

Donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 2655 Camino Del Rio North, Ste. 100, San Diego, CA 92108.

Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled arrangements.
