Animal Sanctuary benefits from show

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently made a donation to the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary. The car club has considered the Animal Sanctuary a very worthy cause and has contributed to its support consistently over the past few years.

The goal of the sanctuary is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home a minimum of 50 pets a month. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization staffed exclusively by volunteers from the Fallbrook area. Persons interested in volunteering and/or adopting may visit http://www.fallbrookanimalsanctuary.org.

The car club, a chapter of the San Diego Antique Automobile Club of America, boasts a very active membership of about 75 enthusiasts. Car ownership is not a requirement for membership – just an interest in the culture.

The club’s annual public event is the Fallbrook Vintage Car Show staged on Memorial Day weekend. Proceeds from the sale of show memorabilia go to support local charities in the form of donations. To learn more visit http://www.fallbrookvintagecarclub.com.
