Cadmus named executive director of Healthcare Foundation

FALLBROOK — At its June 23 meeting the Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Morgan Cadmus to the position of executive director.

Cadmus joined the Foundation in September of 2007 as program manager with a focus of promoting the foundation and its programs to the community and to further develop the three core programs – the well-known Care Van, Fallbrook Adult Day Care Center and Senior Care Advocacy.

“Morgan has done a tremendous job since joining the Foundation,” said Bob Wright, president of the board of directors. “Our job as a board was to help grow him into his position at the foundation. He has exceeded the expectations of the board and we are delighted he has accepted the offer of executive director.”

The Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation, often confused with the Fallbrook Healthcare District, will formally announce its new business name, the Foundation for Senior Care, in the coming weeks.

Under Cadmus’ leadership, the foundation will focus its energy in the coming year on marketing the foundation for senior care as well as continue to develop its three core programs.

“Our goal in the coming year is to promote the Adult Day Care Center as we move the program forward from part-time three days a week to full-time five days a week,” Cadmus said. “The Day Care Center is an amazing program and plays a vital role in the community. We just need to make the community aware of it.”

The Foundation office is located in the Pittenger House at 135 South Mission Road and the Fallbrook Adult Day Care Center is located in the Yount Building at 320 West Alvarado Street. For more information, call (760) 723-7713.
