Horse lovers invited to event

BONSALL — The annual Summer Social and Potluck Dinner, sponsored by the California Thoroughbred Farm Managers Association, will be held this year on Saturday, July 12, at Vessels Stallion Farm, 5820 West Lilac Road, Bonsall. The event promises good food in a beautiful setting with fellow horse lovers. It starts at 5 p.m.

The California Thoroughbred Farm Managers Association is a nonprofit organization which raises funds for equine research, scholarships for young people interested in careers in the horse industry and care for retired/unwanted racehorses.

In addition to the potluck, Vessels Ranch will be showcasing their quarter horse and thoroughbred stallions. There will be a silent auction and raffle consisting of many items donated by local merchants.
