Thank you, Arlyne

Residents and guests in Fallbrook were treated to the most spectacular fireworks imaginable on July 4 thanks to Arlyne Ingold. These fireworks would not be possible without the generosity of this caring, loving lady.

Those who were at the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance’s (FBA) fundraiser at the Grand Tradition not only enjoyed the fireworks but an old-fashioned July 4 celebration with good food, music, dancing, boat races, a duck race, games and prizes in a beautiful setting.

FBA board and advisory members work hard to keep this event affordable so that families can attend. Entry fees, which include dinner, have not changed since its inception four years ago.

A special thank you goes to the McDougal family members for their creative input, hard work and support of this event. We are indeed fortunate to have this family and their lovely, world-class Grand Tradition facility in Fallbrook.

Our thanks also to Supervisor Bill Horn for his generous support, as well as the Logans and Major Market manager John Alarcon. Major Market sold tickets and provided the delicious food which we all enjoyed.

This event, FBA’s only fundraiser, helps maintain beautification projects in and around Fallbrook, including the Mission medians, downtown flowerpots, Beech Street Park, Pico Promenade and Art in Public Places.

Our sincere thanks to all sponsors and all those who attended and supported this event. It was a “Grand July Fourth!”

Jerri Patchett

FBA president
