What would our Founders think?

The July 4 radio news story caught my attention: “Police will be out in force to enforce the alcohol, smoking and cell phone bans today.”

I wonder what the Founders would think – remember those guys who gave us the phrase “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”?

They would probably be proud of a country where we have such a good handle on murder, rape, robbery and gang violence that we have created a whole new list of “crimes” for our over-worked police forces to deal with.
