'Guys and Dolls' now showing

VISTA — Moonlight Stage Productions has started its summer season with “Guys and Dolls.”

This is the beloved Damon Runyon fable of New York showgirls and gamblers. Nathan Detroit (portrayed by Lance Arthur Smith) and Adelaide (Tracy Lore) promise to get married after his next craps game win, while Sky Masterson (David S. Humphrey) needs “Lady Luck” to sweeten his gamble on love with Sarah Brown (Beth Obregon).

“Guys and Dolls” shows at the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Brengle Terrace Park (1200 Vale Terrace Drive) through July 20. Performances run Wednesdays through Sundays at 8 p.m. The amphitheatre gates open at 6:30 p.m. for pre-show picnics.
