Don and Debbie Zumwalt hosted 85 members of the Encore Club at their home for an end-of-year party.
FALLBROOK — On Sunday, June 29, 85 members of the Fallbrook Encore Club gathered for an appetizer party at the home of Don and Debbie Zumwalt to mark the end of the 2007-08 year.
It was another beautiful Fallbrook day and the Zumwalts’ spacious backyard with twinkling lights in the trees made a perfect setting. As usual at these functions, there was an overabundance of food provided by the attendees. Organizers Judith Fekete, Karen Feyler and Linda Yatchman, as well as hostess Debbie Zumwalt, did an outstanding job of making sure everyone had a good time.
The Encore Club is dark for the summer but will start its new season on September 9 with a potluck brunch at 9 a.m. at FPUD. Encore is open to all residents of Fallbrook, Rainbow and Bonsall who have lived in the area for three years or more. For information about Encore, call Lucy Dickson at (760) 723-5884.
