Homeless pets need help

Gentle people, again we send you many thanks for all the help you have given the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary in the past.

As always, the animals are in great need of your help again. They need cat litter desperately. It can be purchased at Major Market or Albertsons for under $3 for a 10-pound bag. This is an “always needed” item. Cat and dog food, blankets, towels, toys (new or used) and donations of money are most welcome.

Or, you could adopt one of the very special little creatures. The sanctuary finally received its 501©3 nonprofit status. Yeah! You may claim your donations as tax-deductible. Anyone with grant-writing experience would be welcomed if they could help write grants so that the group gets some much needed funds for building and such.

Please ask your friends and neighbors to help this wonderful organization and group of volunteers who work day and night to keep these dogs and cats safe until they find homes.

You may deliver supplies to Janet at Borst Designs, 447-A Ammunition Road in Fallbrook (directly behind Albertsons).

Thank you again; your kindness is deeply appreciated.

Joan Arico
