FALLBROOK — After beating the San Dieguito Silver team with a late inning rally two weeks ago, the Fallbrook All-Stars 10-and-under girls softball team advanced to the ASA Regional Championships on July 11, where they beat Nipomo 5-3, ending Nipomo’s 16-game tournament winning streak.
The Fallbrook girls followed that up with a 14-1 victory against Quicksilver Black from San Jose. On July 12, Fallbrook lost to the San Jose Slammers and again to Los Gatos Magic by the score of 3-2 to end their outstanding post-season play.
