Save a tree, use an e-book

Library patrons can learn to download audio books for listening while they garden, walk or drive. “Save a tree, use an e-book” is a free class the Fallbrook Library will hold on Thursday, July 31, from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m.

This class will be an introduction to using the library’s “OverDrive” database. Participants will learn the steps to browse and search for digital titles. The instructors will discuss how to select a title and how to place it on a computer.

The ways the audio book can be used on a computer will be covered, reading the book on a PC, transferring it to an MP3 device or burning the audio book to a CD.

Fallbrook library is at 124 South Mission. Sign-ups are required; call (760) 728-2373.
