Garden Club receives grant from Home Depot

Thanks to a grant of $1,200 from Home Depot, the Fallbrook Garden Club was able to purchase for the La Paloma Elementary School Raised Bed Project redwood boxes, screens and soil to complete the project.

Home Depot delivered the items to La Paloma on July 9 and assembled the boxes.

Garden Club members involved in support of the school garden, La Paloma Assistant Principal Nancy Foster and fourth grade teacher Marilyn McGregor were on hand to meet the Home Depot truck.

Raised beds will be used for planting native plants by fourth, fifth and sixth grade classes this next fall.
