Camera Club well represented at fair

The members of the Fallbrook Camera Club had 16 Photography, Digital Arts and Art submissions accepted by the San Diego County Fair for exhibition.

Lin Craft had “Amazing ‘Dig’,” “Gaucho, Patagonia” and “Marble Caverns” accepted, with “Marble Caverns” receiving an honorable mention.

Charles Leve’s two photographs, “Palouse Wagon Wheels” and “Autumn Color,” were on display. Sandra Chen Weinstein had five photographs accepted in Photography: “Old Man of Pingyao,” “Man in the Red Turban,” “Day Dreaming” (honorable mention), “Pilgrims at the Holy Ganges” (honorable mention) and “Veiled” (fourth place).

Sandra Chen Weinstein also had two photographs in Photojournalism, “Tibetan Monks in Protest Rally” and “Mock Crack Down in Tibet.” Judy Jobe had an entry in Photography, “Locals Only,” and another in Digital Arts, “Dancer on the Run” (honorable mention).

Marjorie Weaver, artist as well as photographer, had her entries accepted in the Exhibition of Art: an oil painting, “A Special Journey,” and a pastel, “A Lovely Lady.”

The Fallbrook Camera Club congratulates the members on their achievements at this year’s San Diego Fair.
