'The Club' now open five days a week

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Healthcare Foundation, now known as the Foundation for Senior Care, is excited to announce the full time operation of the Fallbrook Senior Day Care Center.

The center, often referred to as “The Club,” is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to serve seniors dependant on caregivers.

“I am so excited about expanding our program to five days a week,” Teddie Borges, center administrator, said. “I love being there for the clients and caregivers.”

Through activities and exercises geared to stimulate physical and mental activity, the center provides a safe place for those who are dependant on caregivers due to memory loss or facing health and aging concerns.

The center provides much-needed respite for caregivers and offers both full- and half-day programs.

On Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Dr. Rafael Rosado and his wife, Adela, now conduct “Heart Healthy Sock Hop” exercise classes.
