The County Department of Environmental Health is partnering with the San Diego County Library to provide collection containers for household battery recycling at 10 library branches, including the one in Fallbrook.

The pilot project is funded by a grant from the California Integrated Waste Management Board and is aimed at increasing awareness of battery management requirements and providing convenient collection services.
