Kramer's students compete in Taekwondo championships

BONSALL — During the week of June 25, students and parents from Kramer’s ATA Black Belt Academy traveled to Little Rock, AR, for the ATA Taekwondo World Championships.

Three students competed for the title of World Champion, Andy Kramer won the bronze medal in sparring in the 18- to 29-year-old fourth and fifth degree black belt men’s division and Elaine Tedrick won the bronze medal in weapons in the 40- to 49-year-old fourth and fifth degree black belt women’s division.

Twelve students competed the following days in the tournament to start the 2008-2009 season. Collectively, the students brought home eight first place trophies, six second place trophies and five third place trophies.
