Innovative classes get kids moving

The Fallbrook Community Center will continue to offer its popular dance and fitness classes for the fall schedule, which will provide kids with everything from creative movement to cardio workouts. Classes begin August 5.

The classes are taught by Webby’s Dance Company and are targeted toward specific age groups and skill levels.

Creative movement for children 2 to 3 teaches a combination of ballet, tumbling and creative flow.

Jazz and hip-hop class for children ages 9 to 13 touches on the fundamentals of jazz and hip-hop skills with individual instruction and across-the-floor techniques. Music selections include age-appropriate hip-hop, disco, ’50s, calypso and much more.

Tumbling class for children ages 2 to 3 introduces basic tumbling and balancing skills, obstacle courses and choreographed routines using a variety of different gymnastic stations such as a mini trampoline, balance beam and tumbling mat.
