Brydon-Grunt to wed

Emily Brydon and Christian Grunt have announced their engagement.

Emily is the daughter of Wayne and Dale Brydon of Fallbrook. She graduated from Fallbrook High School in 2001. She then went on to California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where she graduated in 2005. She is starting her third year as a kindergarten teacher in Oakland.

Christian is the son of Jane Grunt of Twentynine Palms. He graduated from St. Francis High School in La Canada, then went on to CSULB and graduated in 2005. CSULB is where the couple met. He now works for a solar energy company in San Rafael as a solar installer.

A September 20 wedding is planned in Twentynine Palms, where Christian’s family owns the Twentynine Palms Inn. They will delay their honeymoon until December’s Christmas break. They plan to reside in Alameda.
