Seniors to learn about ophthalmology

The Fallbrook chapter of the Senior Circle will host a talk entitled “The Eyes Have It: Updates in Ophthalmology” at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 21.

Douglas Clements, MD, Fallbrook Eye Surgery ophthalmologist, will provide a review of ophthalmology since 1970 and introduce the new ophthalmologists to their office: Dr. J. Grant Tew and Dr. Lisa Garbutt, who have extra training in corneal disease and will present “Updates in Ophthalmology.”

The event is open to the public and will be held at Silvergate, 420 Elbrook Drive. Refreshments will be served and there will be a drawing for door prizes. Seating is limited. Call (760) 731-8433 to RSVP.

Senior Circle is a community outreach sponsored by Fallbrook Hospital for individuals age 50 and up.
