Hawk Engine Service takes over L&M Power

FALLBROOK — Hawk Engine Service has taken over L&M Power Equipment’s shop. Hawk Engine Service is now responsible for repairs and maintenance of power equipment once the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

L&M has been supplying local farmers and gardeners the best tools possible for more than 50 years.

“Our repair service has not been able to keep up with demand,” said Leo McGuire, owner of L&M Power. “It is not right for one of my customers to wait two to three weeks to get their lawn tractor back from my shop.”

Hawk Engine Service does repairs on most major brands of tractors, allowing customers to get their equipment back in a timely fashion.

“L&M was built on the idea of having what the grower needs when they need it,” McGuire said. “If I don’t have what my growers need, I’ll go out and get it for them. I have known Darrell for over 20 years; I know he can supply my growers with the service they need.”

L&M Power still does all of the warranty work in-house. L&M will also continue to sell the quality brands customers have come to expect along with OEM parts. Hawk Engine does all of the repairs and maintenance once the factory warranty has expired.

“Our community has a growing need for this type of repair service and we hope it will satisfy the needs of local farmers, commercial customers and homeowners,” said Tricia Hawk, owner of Hawk Engine Service.
