British tea to be held in September

FALLBROOK — One of the largest and most active chapters of Daughters of the British Empire in Southern California, the Excalibur Chapter in Fallbrook, is hosting a fundraising British-style Afternoon Tea on September 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church (corner of Green Canyon and Winterhaven).

The event will include tea, a raffle and a sale of goods.

The Excalibur Chapter is 60 members strong and includes members who are British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealanders.

Funds raised at this event will go to support the British Home in Sierra Madre. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased by calling Judith Fekete at (760) 731-4809 or e-mailing [email protected]
