Fallbrook medians made more attractive

FALLBROOK- The Fallbrook Beautification Alliance (FBA) is using some of the

proceeds from its 4th of July fireworks and fundraising event to complete the landscaping on the south and center portions of the Mission Road Median Project. Mission Median Steward and landscape designer, Pat McDougal and the crew from Western Landscape Maintenance, Inc., recently re-worked the irrigation and planted 118 Double Gold Daylillies, 87 Red Daylillies, 61 Morea and 14 Mexican Sage in these sections to complete this portion of the project.

“I wanted to bring more color and the “wow” factor to the medians,” Pat McDougal said.

The next section to be designed and re-worked will be the north section that runs from the entry to Peppertree Park north to Rocky Crest.

Fallbrook does not receive any funding from the County of San Diego for landscape maintenance projects, so any contributions are greatly appreciated. Those that attended the 4th of July event helped make this community even more beautiful.
