Local business sponsoring pet Adopt-a-Thon

FALLBROOK — Residents can find a “new best friend” at Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary’s Pet Adopt-a-Thon this Saturday, August 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Great Cuts, 1111 South Mission Road (in the Albertsons shopping center).

Chris St. James, owner of Great Cuts Hair Salon, got the idea to sponsor the event after adopting a poodle at a recent Animal Sanctuary fundraiser.

On Saturday, Great Cuts is giving away free haircuts to the entire immediate family for each pet adopted. Anyone who adopts two pets will get two free haircuts for each family member. The Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary does give a savings rate as well if one family adopts two cats or dogs at a time.
