Howard Wayne Shell

Howard Wayne Shell, 72, passed away August 18, 2008, in Carlsbad. Born February 21, 1936, in Effingham, KS, he was a resident of Fallbrook for six years.

He earned a BS degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Los Angeles and was an electrical engineer for Hughes Missile Systems Group. His hobby was farming.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Inger-Lise Shell, Fallbrook; sons and daughter-in-law John Shell, Ft. Lee, NJ, Glenn and Heidi Shell, Pasadena, MD, and Lyle Shell, Reseda, CA; grandson Christian Schroeder, Georgetown, TX; and brother and sister-in-law Kent and Daria Shell, Fallbrook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Todd and Helen Shell, in 2005.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 23, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary and a graveside service on Friday, August 29, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Effingham.
