Sheriff and CHP Appreciation Day Sept. 10

BONSALL- The 9th annual “Sheriff’s & CHP Appreciation Day” sponsored by the Bonsall Chamber of Commerce and Jack-in-the Box (owner, David Beshay) will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 5 p.m., at the Bonsall River Village Center (near the Bonsall Sheriff’s store front- corner of Hwy 76 and Mission Road, Bonsall). This event is open to all chamber members, guests, and local residents wishing to express their appreciation to local law enforcement.

Bonsall Real Estate (Team Thorburn & Team Schweibold) will be hosting this event by providing delicious food to all those in attendance.

The sponsors, Bonsall Chamber of Commerce and Jack-in-the Box will be giving a Jack-in-the Box cash gift card to all law enforcement personnel and their families attending the event. Dessert and soda will be provided by the Bonsall Chamber.

This is a time for the Sheriff Department and CHP to honor its own. The program will be conducted by Sheriff Lt. Alex Dominguez and CHP Captain David Webb.

Those being honored include Sheriff’s Department: Deputy Michael Tingley, Deputy Jason Smith, Deputy Frank Leyva, Deputy Pete Alvarado, Detective Dan Laibach; Sheriff Senior Volunteer Patrol: Larry Yetter, Derwin Williams, Geoffrey Diehl, Rosemarie Lintner; CHP: Officer Todd Swanson, Officer Jeff Walker, Officer Dan Makis; CHP Senior Volunteers: Ed Rodriguez and Bob Rebar.
