Voices for children needed

Last updated 8/28/2008 at Noon

Voices for Children is a nonprofit agency that trains volunteers to advocate on behalf of one of the more than 7,500 children in San Diego’s foster care system. Much more than a “mentor,” volunteers advocate for children in court and give their recommendations to the judge.

Adults are needed to be advocates for children in foster care by speaking for children who cannot speak for themselves. For more information or to volunteer, visit or call (858) 569-2019.
