Name the theme for Christmas Parade

FALLBROOK — Members of the public are invited to submit ideas for the theme for Fallbrook’s 27th Annual Christmas Parade, which will march down Main Avenue on Saturday, December 6.

Chairs Roy and Linda Costello, and their committee of volunteers, encourage area residents to submit ideas for the theme, which will be used throughout the upcoming holiday season in connection with the parade.

The winning theme will be announced in the next few weeks and the creative author will get a free ride in the Christmas parade on a vehicle to be chosen by the committee.

This year’s parade promises to be another good one, with a 1902 horse-drawn steam fire engine and the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile already committed to appear. The Tin Lizzies will make an encore appearance and several marching bands have indicated they will participate. And this is only September!

Volunteers are always needed and welcome to help with the parade. Parade entry applications are now available at the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce. Theme ideas may be e-mailed to [email protected].
