Taft's work featured in solo exhibit

Brandon Gallery is proud to announce that one of its own members, Beth Taft, will be featured in a solo exhibition in the Etcetera Gallery through September 30.

Taft, a very skilled and talented artist, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in art and humanities from San Diego State University and has done graduate work at the University of California at San Diego. She also holds a teaching credential and taught art in middle school for 10 years.

Well known for her beautiful oil and watercolor paintings, Taft’s subject matter is varied. Her floral paintings are very popular. One of her floral paintings was the Poster Floral for the Second Art of the Flower event. Some of the posters are still available at Brandon Gallery. Taft’s skills have made it possible for her to venture into mixed media, portraiture and whatever she chooses to try.

Taft has been generous with her time and talent, working with the Art Assist Program fostered by the Fallbrook Art Association in Fallbrook schools.

Brandon Gallery is located at 105 North Main Avenue. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (760) 723-1003.
