'Flower Girls' to speak at Garden Club meeting

FALLBROOK — Bette Childs and Joan Espy, “The Flower Girls” from Encinitas, will speak at the Fallbrook Garden Club’s first general meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 30, at Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane. Social time starts at 12:30 p.m. and the general meeting at 1.

The amazing Flower Girls specialize in creating unique and whimsical container gardens for the home, patio and garden. Their presentation includes discussion of plant selection and container choice while demonstrating how to put it all together.

The girls use the newest exciting annuals, perennials, herbs, succulents and vegetables. Their work has been featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune and the North County Times.
