Smiles Project offers Healthy Living series

A Healthy Living class series is currently being provided at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 450 South Stage Coach Lane in Fallbrook. The classes, organized by the Fallbrook Smiles Project, are designed to educate families about illness, injury prevention and a healthy lifestyle.

Classes are held at 6 p.m. on Mondays, September 8, 15, 22, 29, and October 13, 20 and 27. The series is free and is held in both English and Spanish. Participants are welcome to come to any or all classes.

Topics will include: food-borne illness prevention, MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), lice prevention and control, poison control, personal and dental hygiene, proper nutrition, exercise, healthcare resources and lots more.
