Fallbrook VFW Post 1924 wants to brighten the day for Marines in Iraq. The following items are needed for care packages: cookies, candy, potato chips, toothpaste and brushes, baby wipes, barbershop scissors, soap and lip balm or sun block for lips. Note: no glass containers are allowed.

Donations can be dropped off after 12 p.m. at the VFW, located at 1175 Old Stage Road.
