Free information shredding available

FALLBROOK — Now is the chance for everyone who wants to ensure that all their private information remains private, whether on paper or on their computer hard drives.

As a part of the Community-Wide Cleanup/Recycling Day on September 20, area residents can bring two boxes of paper materials to the downtown community parking lot behind the Art Center at 103 South Main from 9 a.m. to noon for shredding, free of charge.

They can also bring unwanted computers to the electronic recycling event and have the hard drive “destroyed” before the computer goes to the e-waste recycler.
