Hawthorne Machinery names Dunn corporate marketing director

SAN DIEGO — Hawthorne Machinery Company, an authorized dealer of Caterpillar equipment serving San Diego County, Hawaiian Islands, Pacific Rim and Northern Baja California, has hired Stephen Dunn as the new corporate marketing director.

Dunn’s primary role will be to manage the design and production of planned marketing programs. He will also be responsible for analyzing and developing new business opportunities for the company by providing in-depth analysis of business growth based on market segmentation.

Dunn received his MBA with a marketing specialty from California State University, Fullerton. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology and business administration specialization. He currently lives in Carlsbad with his wife and five children, who range in age from 5 to 15.
