Hats off to Joni

Another summer has come and gone. And, once again, the many events of Hot Summer Nites were enjoyed by residents of the Friendly Village and surrounding communities. The Chili Contest sponsored by Connections Networking Group was the grand finale of these events held Friday, August 29.

We would like to take a moment to express our sincere thanks and genuine appreciation to Joni Wilhelm, owner of the Lace Apron, who generously extended herself and her establishment to participants of the Chili Contest needing an approved kitchen to prepare their chili creations.

On behalf of the board of directors and staff of the Foundation for Senior Care, it is our desire to acknowledge Joni for her generosity and philanthropic support extended to us and others, making it possible to participate in this really fun and worthwhile event.

A good time was had by all and our hats are off to you, Joni. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks so much!
