The invasion of a sovereign nation

How can we not be ashamed of the foreign policy statements of this president? He stands before the cameras at the Olympic Games in China and states that “it is wrong to violate the territory of a sovereign nation” (i.e. Georgia). Remember, this is the same man who willingly and preemptively invaded the sovereign nation of Iraq – an invasion based on manipulated false intelligence and outright lies!

I’m not going to get into the rights and wrongs of the Russian invasion of Georgia; that is something for the UN and world opinion to decide. What I am concerned about is my US leader weaving sackcloth and ashes over a crime that he himself committed, and in much greater magnitude, six years ago!

And why doesn’t the mainstream media point out the obvious incongruity?
