David Alan Powers, 51, passed away September 3, 2008, at Tri-City Hospital. He was born January 29, 1957, in New Martinsville, WV.

David was a graduate of Quaker Valley High School in Leets Dale, PA. He was a metallurgist and held various other jobs. His interests included playing the guitar, rhythm and blues.

He is survived by mother Nina J. Powers-Deuth, Fallbrook, CA; brother Eugene L. Powers, Sedona, AZ; and sisters Deborah A. Becker, Fort Myers, FL, and Christine M. Osborne, Chapel Hill, NC.

A memorial service will be held on September 13 at 11 a.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary.
