Research a candidate

Because I’m a political junkie, friends ask me who to vote for. I will not advise someone who to vote for. I ask them to do the research on a candidate who is running against Darrell Issa in the 49th.

Robert Hamilton, a retired businessman, is sick about all Congressmen like Issa who say they are supporting the troops, vote against measures to shorten their deployment, vote against GI Bills, vote against helping the bravest of us all, yet will vote in Bush lockstep “for” sending them in to harm’s way without sufficient armor.

Bob, a graduate of UCLA in political science, has worked in the US, Latin America and Europe. He understands the role of the United States in world affairs and is certainly more qualified than the “car alarm salesman” we have representing us now.

He is for transparent government, balancing the budget, renewable energy, ending the war and weaning us off fossil fuels. I have actually met him; I can testify that his character is beyond reproach.

The military organization endorsements are beginning to roll in for Hamilton and it behooves all military families and friends to vote for Hamilton, who will actually be on their side.
